Surface Tensions

I don’t normally post about animal testing here but I just received an email that needs some attention.

As a diabetic I’ve used Splenda (or Sucralose) in the past. This web page details the cost in animal life that was required to bring this substance to the market. Is a new artificial sweetener work 10,000+ animal lives? Is it worth making those lives short and miserable?

That’s ultimately a question for us as a society to answer but first we must realize that it needs to be answered.
