Surface Tensions

My faith in cartoon animals at least. I made some sweet and sour tempeh Friday and I’d tossed the carrot scraps out in my back yard, figuring the rabbits would make short work of them. I mean, that’s what Bugs was always eating, right? Well, come Sunday when I went out to mow, all the scraps were still there. It looked like Bugs lied to me!

Fortunately for my mental stability, I looked out the kitchen window tonight and this is what I saw:

I should have waited a few minutes to take the picture, then I could have gotten the rabbit and the chipmunk eating the bread I threw out. It’s like Wild Kingdom in my back yard. Now where’s Marlin Perkins when I need him?
